If you’re new to yoga, walking into your first class can feel a little intimidating. The good news? My beginner's yoga class in Burton is welcoming, supportive, and open to every body.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT A BEGINNERS YOGA CLASS?
A warm welcome – you don’t need to be flexible or experienced.
Basic postures – taught step by step, with plenty of options.
Focus on breath – learning how breath supports movement.
Relaxation at the end – you’ll leave feeling calmer than when you arrived.
Helpful demos - I demo lots of poses so, whether you're an auditory or visual learner, there's lots of support for you.
TIPS BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Bring a mat if you have one (spares are often available).
Arrive 5–10 minutes early.
Most importantly: bring curiosity, not perfection!
Don't worry if you feel like you're looking at everyone around you for your first few classes.
